MY WORK

I offer specialized treatment for individuals grappling with a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, trauma, women’s issues, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My practice is designed to address the unique complexities of each client's situation, providing tailored therapeutic approaches to foster healing and growth.

For those dealing with mood disorders, such as depression, I work to help clients understand their emotional patterns and develop coping strategies to stabilize their mood and enhance their quality of life. When it comes to anxiety disorders, my focus is on helping clients manage their symptoms, explore the root causes of their anxiety, and build resilience through evidence-based techniques.

In addressing trauma, I provide a supportive environment for individuals to process their experiences and develop strategies for overcoming the impacts of past events. I also have a keen understanding of women’s issues, offering support for challenges related to gender-specific experiences, such as reproductive health, work-life balance, and self-esteem.

For those undergoing life transitions—whether they involve career changes, relocation, or major life events—I offer guidance to navigate these changes effectively and build a sense of stability and purpose. Additionally, I assist individuals and couples in resolving relationship issues by enhancing communication skills, addressing conflict, and fostering deeper connections.

My goal is to empower clients by helping them gain insight, develop effective coping mechanisms, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. Through a compassionate and personalized approach, I strive to support each person in achieving emotional well-being and fulfilling their potential.

Our work together will include assessing your needs, establishing goals for therapy, and providing interventions for overall well-being, emotional / mental wellness, and healthy living.  I use various modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).

This is a non-judgmental environment! I am attuned to cultural differences and the impact it has on personal and professional experiences. I am committed to practicing cultural humility.
